Floyd describes the choice every believer has to either live for temporal or eternal rewards. He shares his belief that there are rewards in heaven, and asks the hard questions about what kind of rewards we want to live for.
Lessons in Faith - In this message Floyd shares with a group of leaders some of the key lessons he has learned about believing God. He tells stories from his interaction with spiritual mothers and fathers who helped shape his life and how they inspired him to trust God for the impossible. This is a very inspiring and practical teaching for those who want to grow in faith.
Floyd unburdens his heart to South Africans and those called to work in South Africa to seize the opportunity to help build the new South Africa. Speaking from Psalm 78, verse 9, “…they turned back in the day of battle” he reminds South Africans that they have a destiny to be pioneers, adventurers, and explorers, and encourages those who are willing to give themselves to God’s purposes for healing and transforming South Africa. A deeply challenging message to not live in fear but faith for South Africa’s future as a nation.
How do we interpret political upheavals and natural disasters in the light of biblical prophecy? Are we living in the last days? Floyd shares insights from God’s word that helps the listener understand the purpose of “shakings” going on in the world today, including circumstances that shake our personal lives.
When followers of Jesus face important decisions, how do they discern the will of God? Floyd explains the process of hearing and knowing the voice of God. He gives the listener “handles” to hold onto as they walk through the decision making process. Sharing intimate and sometimes humorous experiences from his own life, he illustrates important Biblical principles for making the “big” decisions.
How did Jesus equip his disciples? He demonstrated and imparted a new way of living to them. Then he sent them out to experience it firsthand for themselves as they reached out to others. In this inspiring message Floyd explains how each one of us can be a disciple-making follower of Jesus. He breaks down the command of Jesus to “make disciples” into simple, doable steps that each one of can follow. He exhorts his listeners that the only thing they can take to heaven besides their own love for Jesus are the disciples they have made for Jesus here on earth.
