God is doing wonderful things for us. We believe that He has started something and opened doors that one one can stop or close.
I trained some people in Khayalitsha recently and was overwhelmed by their response and friendship.
We are a group of men that confess 2 Chronicles 7:14. The Almighty in his grace send the Huguenots here to bring the gospel. However, we became richer with more money and slaves.
We believe that He forgave our sins and is healing this land. And He is doing it for His glory.
Amen.

Pastor Flyod

Thanks for an inspiring weekend at living hope, Hamilton Ontario. It does not take much to realize you are in the will of God. I'm in complete agreement that this is Africa's hour. I was born in Ghana and I lived there until I was 19 years old. When I was 17, one of my friends led me to Christ and immediately, the Bible took on new meaning, I felt the Lord drawing me to himself through his word and through revelations.

Through a series of miracles, God convenantly opened the door for me to study in Canada. He led me to a great school, McMaster University and established me in a great church, Living hope, where I was shaped to lead and taught to train others to lead by discipleships through the teachings and principles of Jesus Christ. I won, led to Christ and discipled many of my friends; consequently raising up a leader who is also actively reaching his world and leading them to Christ. As a ministry, we have reached many Africans from Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Cameron and Kenya.

In my experience many Africans have a deep love and appreciation for the continent and are always ready to defend it; we all have a strong sense of community, vision, purpose and an awareness of our God-given destinies. We share many God-given promises pertaining to our inheritance stored up which is yet to be released. Many of the Africans I know are unbelievably talented and eager to share their talents with the rest of the world.

I have not been back to Africa in 7 years but each time i am reminded of the promises of God for the continent, I get overwhelmed with emotion and eager to be involved. love the continent dearly especially the potential within all its facets. When I see people like yourself with great ministries raising up leaders and empowering them to overcome their circumstances, I gain so much encouragement and gratification and a greater motivation to prepare quickly for the harvest. I believe the continent of Africa is going to be transformed but it will not be by human might or by human power but by the Spirit of the Lord and it is awe-inspiring to see the Spirit of God and the Word of God mixing together to bring life to this richly endowed continent.

This is one of the promises God has put on my heart for the continent. I believe the time has come and God is sending fishers to fish and hunters to hunt his people (Africans)

Jeremiah 16:14-16

"However, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "when men will no longer say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,' 15 but they will say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.' For I will restore them to the land I gave their forefathers.

16 "But now I will send for many fishermen," declares the LORD, "and they will catch them. After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks.

Amen and thank you

For now is the time for us to shine. The prophecies talk about the silver rain falling over Africa. I feel it in my spirit and in my bones. Test yourself to see if your heart is beating like an African drum. Look at the world map and if you get goosebumps looking at the African continent you've got it!

I was excited to read Floyd's article on the emergence of Africa in a spiritual sense. I am a believer and work as a trainer in Quality Management offering Quality Assurance training by distance learning (see my web site). Over the past 2 -3 years I have had numerous enquiries about the courses from folk all over Africa and last year set up a subsidiary in Ghana. It was my first visit to Africa but I soon became entranced with the desire of people to better themselves. I have since received requests for help from organisations in Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Migeria, South Africa and Sudan to set up training centres for Quality Management.

Something is really happening in this wonderful continent both spiritually and materialistically. Brothers and sisters, continue to pray for the blessing of God on this continent.

My heart is deeply touched by your passion for following God's heart in Africa and beyond. May God grace me, my children and the church of Jesus Christ here in the states to be passionate about the things that he is passionate about and to follow him and obey him unequivocably! I am praying Isaiah 54 for you and your mission.
Thanks for sharing your heart!

It is so encouraging to have someone with "fresh" eyes come to Cape Town and see the promise that is about to come. So many friends and aquaintances have left due to problems here, looking for greener pastures. I am standing on Jer 33 for our city and that a time will come when "never again will there be violence in our land or ruin and destruction within our borders, but our walls will be called salvation and our gates priase".
Thank you for coming and may the Lord bless you both abundantly.

Dear Floyd and Sally -

Just a note to say that you continue to be in my prayers (as you have remained over the many years). I have not been able to 'keep up with you' - as to your whereabouts, but of course, am confident that God's hand continues to guide and protect you.

I am so thrilled to discover that you are in Africa! My heart has a very special place for this continent. In fact, I recently discovered that I have an ancestor that was a slave (circa 1816). As a teacher (public education grades 1-6) in Visual and Performing Arts - this little fact blows my students away! It really levels the playing field when one discovers their heritage - especially in the United States. If folks really understood their ancestry - a lot would compassionately change. They probably would be shocked - historically - where they actually come from! Personally, I am ecstatic that I have this connection.

A missionary just donated a load of African artifacts to my classroom. As I have begun to research them, I find that their music is such a key element in their connection to God. I LOVE that they don't need to read music - that they FEEL it and express themselves so naturally. How I hope and pray that we all can be this sensitive and free in God's gifts to us.

May God bless you and your family - richly. I appreciate you both more than you will ever ever know. You have influenced my life by your kind words, integrity and honesty that helped to keep me following God when the road seemed rather bleak. Therefore, I submit that these same acts of kindness will continue to touch each and every soul that you may encounter.

I praise our heavenly Father for you and thank you - oh, so very much for your tenacious and consistent walk with Him.

His servant,

Susan Federico Forsman (formerly, as you may know me : Susan Russell).

ps. We celebrated Giovanna's wedding this last June to Ted Hommrich!! The happy couple are finishing their Masters Degree(s) in Film in Los Angeles. Please pray that their path heads in God's direction. Thank you! Dan, sadly, was not invited - for reasons between Gigi and Dan - some of which I am not privy to. I 'still' pray that Dan understands God's ways, and never ending love and truth.
